RoMS Theory Course

Online training for cattle mobility scoring fundamentals

This RoMS course focuses on the theory; developing an understanding of the impacts of lameness and providing the foundational skills for learning how to assess mobility in dairy cattle, including promptly identify lameness for treatment; a key component for healthy feet.

Our bitesize training videos allow you to learn at your own pace. You can start and stop any time with the training platform automatically saving your progress so you can simply pick up where you left off when you log back in. The entire online theory course will take you about 4 hours to complete.

On passing this course you will receive a certificate which you can download and print out for your records. This certificate is valid for 12 months for those of you wanting to complete the training to become RoMS registered.

For those of you looking to become a RoMS registered scorer, this course certificate demonstrates your competence around the theory of cattle mobility scoring. Consider this part 1 of your 3 part training towards becoming a RoMS registered scorer.
